03/28 Texas Invitational

Texas Quiz Bowl will host its 6th annual Texas Invitational Weekend of Quiz Bowl on March 28-29, 2015. The weekend will include a mirror of the 2014 NAQT ICT Div II and the Minnesota Undergraduate Tournament. Each team will play a minimum of 24 matches (14 Saturday/10 Sunday) over two days.

Trinity University in San Antonio will host the 2015 Texas Invitational. The event will be housed in the newly renovated Center for Science and Innovation.

Event I: Texas Invitational: MUT
Event I is a TQBA-written power-marked ACF-Regionals level event for up to 24 secondary teams.

Event II: Texas Invitational: NAQT
Event II is a mirror of the 2015 NAQT ICT Div II for up t0 32 secondary teams.

The official TI hotel will be the La Quinta-Airport. The hotel is located adjacent to the San Antonio Airport and 5 miles north of Trinity University along US-281N. The rate for a two double bed room is $95 per night and the hotel offers a free breakfast each morning. You can call the hotel at (210) 342-3738 and use the name “Texas Invitational” to book into the group. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from the airport.

We are still attempting to arrange a shuttle between the hotel and Trinity University. I cannot promise that this will work out, but I am very hopeful.

As soon as you have your team set, please send me a roster. Please a format similar to the one below. Please indicate any differences between the players who will play MUT vs. NAQT. Please also indicate any vegetarians among your players.
