How do Register? |

| To register: email romeroc at gmail dot com (Registrations due July 1, 2010; fee due July 15, 2010) with the campers name, school and grade in 2010-2011, and any roommate preference. A campers place at the camp is not guaranteed until the fee and health form have been received. | ||

Location & Lodging |
||
| The entire camp will be held at the Tradition at Northgate (301 Church Ave., College Station, TX 77840). Students will sleep in a private bedroom and share a bathroom with one other person. Roommates may be requested. Linens will be provided. All meals are included with the registration fee. Pictures of the facility are available at their website. | ||
| Arrival & Departure | ||
| Students will be expected to check-in between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday August 1st. Students will be expected to check-out between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.on Thursday, August 5th. | ||
| Curriculum & Coverage | ||

Each student will choose 2 major classes from the following 4 offerings: European History, Biochemistry,
Dramas, Poetry Opera, World Gods, Paintings, Chinese/Japanese History, Philosophical Schools, World Religions Minor offerings are subject to interest. If there is a lack of sufficient interest a minor course may be cancelled. |

| Fee: $395.00 (including dorm room shared with 1 person, private
bath, and all meals) A discount of $50 is available for students
who submit their fee to the address below by June 15th. |

| Staff Members | ||
| It is expected that for a group of 32 students, Texas Quiz Bowl will provide 4-6 adult staff members and additional older students as mentors. All staffers and mentors will live on the same floors as students. Adults will be available 24 hours of day in case of emergency. Staff members come with a wide variety of quiz bowl backgrounds. Staff credentials include national college and high school championships, national editorships, and dozens of combined years of mentoring experience. The staff is dedicated to helping new students learn quiz bowl efficiently and effectively. In addition to the curriculum topics listed above, students will learn about the fundamentals and strategies necessary for quiz bowl success for their expert mentors. | ||
