Camp Director:

Chris Romero, the executive director of Texas Quiz Bowl, will serve as the director of Texas Quiz Bowl Camp. Chris was the founder of Aggie Bowl and Texas Quiz Bowl, which grew out of the quiz bowl program Chris and his colleagues established at Texas A&M. His extensive experience in the field has included writing questions for NAQT, ACF, and National Science Bowl. He has served as tournament director for more than 50 tournaments during the last decade. In addition, Chris was the captain of the 2006 Academic Competition National Champion Team. The national championship title came as the culmination of a five-year study plan developed by Chris and his teammates. The methods involved the establishment of distinct team-subject roles and the development of an innovative set of study materials.
